I decided to hand-write the title and use the photoshop pencil tool to make it look more antique.  I would have like to finished it more in Indesign but I'm going to work my portfolio first.  When I finish I may return to this to fix up the typography and add more elements to it.

Final Logo Designs

I showed my two final designs in black and white, as well as a blank scaleable bee that can be used for decoration and shows the art in its most neutral form, without the circle or text.  The bottom is the letterhead I used for the identity kit.  It not only shows how the logo will be used, it also fills up the bottom of the page nicely.

I made a logo for my old school library because the librarian wants me to design her one.  This will be one of the ideas I'll present to her for the library. I didn't use designs on the back of the business card because I wasn't sure what other information to include.  I didn't want to include the school's address or the librarians' real names because it felt weird to post that on my blog.  Since the card isn't for one person, it would be hard to find contact information for the library.  For this reason I don't think this card would have a backside, except for the blank white back shown underneath it. I wanted to put the logo on the cover of a book but I couldn't find a good template.  I used the ideas and templates that I had.  I ended up making several variations on the logo for the different products.  All of them are black and white.  The white detail bees fill in blank space while showing how the logo would function in negative color. ...
